In this two-minute video, Simon Babcock of the Philomath School District works in both the classroom and the forest. His students do research in the forest and work on projects related to forest management. As a high school forestry instructor, he teaches about the importance of sustainable forest management, prepares students for advanced study at a community college or university, and exposes them to the variety of career opportunities the industry has to offer.
